✨ Historic Launch of AiSED: Southeast Asia Chapter of UNESCO EE-Net ✨

His Highness Tengku Amir Shah, Crown Prince of Selangor, officially launched the Southeast Asia Chapter of the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network (EE-Net) on 25th November 2025 at the ASEAN Technology Cooperation & Development Summit Gala Dinner held at MITEC Kuala Lumpur. This chapter is the first regional initiative by UNESCO EE-Net, proudly hosted in Malaysia by the Asia Institute of Sustainability, Entrepreneurship & Diplomacy (AiSED), chaired by Dato’ Steve Cheah.
This milestone marks a significant advancement in entrepreneurship education across Southeast Asia. Representing UNESCO Asia Pacific were Ms. Maki Katsuno-Hayashikawa from the UNESCO Regional Office in Jakarta, Ms. Marina Patrier, UNESCO Bangkok and Mr Santosh Khatri, UNESCO Jakarta, who played pivotal roles in championing this initiative and fostering regional collaboration. Also present were the representatives from the UNESCO EE-Net chapters of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
UNESCO EE-Net was established in 2013 and actively engages policymakers, educators, researchers, and entrepreneurs to foster innovation and sustainable development aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Let by AiSED, in collaboration with the Diplomatic Council, and key partners like Intrinsic SEA, SAY, Asia e-University, SPEED and others, this initiative is positioned to empower youth, cultivate visionary leaders, and strengthen regional cooperation. 🌏🚀
