Jakarta October 21-24, 2025 – The Global Entrepreneurship Education Meeting (GEEM 2025), a pivotal gathering of the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network (EE-Net) and global partners, concluded recently as a success, cementing new international collaborations aimed at transforming entrepreneurship education.

The meeting brought together delegates from 23 countries united by a mission to redefine entrepreneurship as a critical life skill for creating a "more just, equitable, inclusive, and sustainable world," a core tenet championed by co-organizer Sociopreneur Indonesia.
Key outcomes of the meeting include the launch of three major cross-country collaborations:
Cross-Borders Joint Research: A new initiative to reimagine entrepreneurship education for the modern global landscape.
Train-the-Educators Program: An ambitious capacity-building effort spanning three countries.
Solok Learning City Initiative: A project focused on building a city of learning by integrating culture, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
The GEEM 2025 gathering, co-hosted by Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, fostered genuine partnerships across countries, moving beyond mere discussions to drive actionable commitments. Organizers extended gratitude to key partners, including UNESCO EE-Net National Chapters, UNESCO Bangkok, UNESCO Jakarta, Ishk Tolaram Foundation, SID-Net, and Catalyst Now Asia & the Pacific, for their support in advancing the future of purposeful, collaborative education
