The Asia Institute of Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Diplomacy (AiSED), in partnership with GEN Thailand (as the coordinator for the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network [EE-NET] Southeast Asia Chapter), has formalized a

strategic collaboration with the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL).
The official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) took place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, during the ASAIHL 2025 Conference, hosted by BELTEI International University. The conference theme, "Digitalization of Higher Education," emphasized integrating modern tools and standards into regional learning.
Goal and Impact of the Collaboration
This partnership is designed to significantly enhance the quality and measurable impact of Entrepreneurship Education across the region. By linking ASAIHL’s extensive network of universities with the UNESCO EE-NET/GEN initiative, the collaboration will achieve the following:
Boost Innovation: Accelerate the integration of entrepreneurial skill development into academic curricula.
Implement Competency Testing: A core element of this MOU is the introduction of a standardized Entrepreneurship Competency Test across participating ASAIHL institutions. This test will allow for the measurement and benchmarking of student skills, ensuring education leads to demonstrable, job-market-ready capabilities.
Support Workforce Transformation: Equip students and young leaders with the practical skills required for the rapidly evolving modern economy.
Foster Regional Alignment: Establish a unified platform for sharing best practices, research, and policy recommendations among educators, policymakers, and entrepreneurs across Asia.
This agreement constitutes a major commitment to supporting sustainable growth and regional development through targeted educational and institutional cooperation.
